Fatigue
Definition: A state in which an individual experiences physical or mental weariness/tiredness which may or may not result from exertion. In this state the person has a diminished ability to perform and/or enjoy daily tasks.
Chronic fatigue can be a debilitating condition preventing people from doing the activities they love. Our goal is to enable patients to get back to the things that they love, and need to do -- work, family time, travel, exercise, as well as out door and other activities.
It is important that thorough testing be done in order to determine the cause of fatigue.
Being chronically tired can result in an increased risk of infections (such as colds and flus), accidents in the workplace, home, and while driving.
